I have a 14 yr old daughter who will be having the Fontan procedure done this summer. Her first operation was when she was 3 months old. Then she had a Glenn at 2 years old. We have been lucky since then with no major issues or operations until now. It was her decision to have the procedure done now. She is tired of being different from everyone and people starring at her. We knew it was coming someday, but we aren't prepare for it. I think we are all scared to death and don't know where to turn for support. I'm looking for some teens that my daughter could maybe talk to that what similar issues. I am also wondering about the camp in August. I think it might be something we would like to attend. If everything goes as planed she should be able to attend by then.
