I wanted to post again to just thank you all. As I said in a previous post I was feeling overwhelmed (it's a really bad idea to try to get legal information about chd's through a polictical blog) and didn't feel the support from some of my close family. One thing I've learned through all of this is that you have to create your own family in this situation. People who haven't expereinced it may be too itimdated to talk to you about it or too ignorant to the situation to realize it's causing you pain. I've started reaching out to 'heart families' and found Paul Cardall's website and will be going to his concert. It's really hard to watch some of these families lose their child and now have an angel. In a way though it gives me strength. All of you give me strength and hope through the way you handle this. I would like to meet more of you and add you to my family blog. I update it more frequently than our care page. (www.andysmama.blogspot.com) Thanks for being here... it's a light in such a dark world.
