Our family welcomed a new (heart healthy) baby last month we named him jeremy he was 7 lbs 11 oz and 19 in long. Peter thinks he is the cutest thing ever. Peter is almost 3 and of course the day we have planned to go to the dinosuar museum is the same day as the Mothers Heart luncheon, I'm sorry I am going to miss it for long dead animals :) We are also going to be doing his fontan hopefully the second week in June. We asked Dr. Su if we could schedule to do it just as soon as school is out since both my husband and I are teachers. Peter's oxygen is about 75-80% right now he is not on oxygen but it is amazing how pale he looks in comparison with his new little brother. I am nervous about the surgery obviously but it was nice to have a new baby to distract us from worrying about it all this year since we had the baby to think about. Just thought I'd let everyone know the news. Thanks for all the support we love you guys!

Gayle,
I am so glad that your new little one arrived and all is well. I think that is great that Peter is in love with Jeremy. My son Cole is all crazy about anything concerning a baby, and would really like to have a little brother or sister. However, he is our caboose and so he will just have to enjoy new little cousins that come into the family.
I think you spending time with Peter before his Fontan is way more important that attending the Luncheon. So enjoy this time you have together because it's not time you can go back and make up.
Keep us posted as to when the surgery does take place so we can support you.

Gayle,
I just wanted to congratulate you on your newest little one. It's good to hear he is heart healthy. I will miss seeing you at the luncheon too, and hope to see you at the Picnic a few weeks later. Enjoy the museum with your family and remember to take some pictures.
Hugs,

Hello I am new to IHH, and actually this is my first reply to anyone or thing. I am 26 weeks pregnant with a HRHS baby boy. This is all very new to my husband and I- this is the first heart baby in either family. We would love to hear your input on what we and our baby are in for. It's great that your guy is THREE! that gives us a lot of hope. AND that you were able to have a healthy baby! I haven't seen a lot of HRHS kids on this site, so I was so excited to see your posting. My email is angeequ@hotmail.com, and I also made a blog- although it is very simple because I am not computer savvy-at

Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you!
