My sister in law just had her 5th child. After birth she was taken to Childrens Hospital of Cincinati. She has been diagnosed with DORV and small pulmonary artery. I am looking for anyone who might know someone who is in Ohio or surrounding areas or anyone with this diagnosis. All her family is here in Utah. Just trying to find her some support. I have talked with her, but Brysons diagnosis is so different. Any help would be appriciated. Thanks in advance. Jennylin

Brinley is a HRHS but is also called DORV, her pulmonary artery was also very tiny to non-existent...you know its all in the details, about a particular defect that can alter a discussion, but I would be more then willing to talk to her if you want. :)
Hugs,

They have given here a new diagnosis. It is now TGA and pulmonary stenosis. They are doing a cath tomorrow and if all goes well sending her home the end of the week and doing the artial switch and fixing the pulmonary artery in 6-9 months. Thanks all for your comments. She seems to be doing well. We will pray that it stays that way.
Thanks again

Jacob is TGA so if she ever wants to talk I would be happy to talk to her. Also you can point her to Jacob's blog at www.jacobsheart.blogspot.com
I have a number of links to other TGA kids there.

My son has dorv and pulmonary atresia with a large vsd. I will offer any help I can. I live it Utah. Having lots of support is good and knowing you are not alone is also good for the mental well being.
