"After 7 days of fighting Cali finally got her much needed rest. Last night (8/12/09) at 8:45pm after 2 rounds of CPR we let Cali go. A huge part of our hearts have gone with her. We have loved every minute that she shared with us and hate to have to see it end so quickly. But, we have many cherished memories of our sweet angel and now we must trust God to keep her safe for us until we can be with her again. There's a song that I keep thinking of, it's "Streets of Heaven." I can't help but think there are enough angels in Heaven, why does He need mine too? Can't I have her for a little while first? But, I know that I can't see from where He can see, and I know that He has a plan for me, my family and my little angel girl, Cali. Thank you for all the prayers. I know they have helped us get through this last week, a week that has been so wonderful in so many ways. A week that I will forever cherish as my time to love an angel. We will post information about her funeral services tomorrow, we're thinking it will be Thursday afternoon and will be open for all to attend."
Our hearts go out to you, Adrienne, and Thomas. We are so sorry for the pain that you are feeling.
