Have you noticed when the temperature changes, do your heart children get sensitive to the season temperature changes...cold in the middle of summer in the swimming pool or really hot say like a day at the zoo, or they can't last long in cold weather? I'm just wondering if the fact that their little bodies can't circulate blood through their repaired hearts fast enough...has anyone noticed anything like this? Just kinda throwing this one out there to see what or if anyone has noticed this. :) Thanks in advanced for your comments.

I too have noticed that Ethan gets chilled in swimming pools a lot quicker than my other children. He also seems to get drained by the heat quicker and will take a long nap after being in the sun.

Yes - my daughter is more sensitive to external temperatures. When she was <1 yr, she'd get fevers if the temp in the room was too high.

Noah gets very cold in swimming pools, in fact, he always scares the crap out of us because his lips go bright purple. He is acting just fine playing, but he is really dusky. He goes back to his normal pink once he has warmed up, but it takes a little while.

As for the summer, we need to keep him really hydrated, as if he isn't, he gets really tired and it just drains him. Even little hikes can do it if it is really hot outside. We took him to Zions and kept a *****pak with us at all times so he could take breaks and have ice water. Gatorade also helps.

Great question!!
